Houston Wedding Photographer Daria Radcliff shares this beautiful wedding with a deep green color theme for a Paris Chic Wedding- Houston Style! Enjoy!
With a touch of Paris Chic, Stephanie and Steven Novotny got married at one of the most beautiful venues Houston has to offer: the McGovern Centennial Gardens, in Houston, TX. The weather was simply gorgeous, the flowers, the freshest and the whitest, the dress and make up impeccable… There are no adjectives that anyone involved could ever come up with to describe the beauty, the energy, the amazing attention to details, and the love surrounding the two.
Stephanie’s mother, Susan Lawrence, was the master mind behind the event, along with Courtney Paddock, from Little Coterie Events in Houston. The wedding took months of preparation and research, something that Susan had diligently paid close attention.
Photography was also not only essential, but something that they personally had a few requests in regards to the decor. They asked for specific detail shots of the venue, including flowers, food, menus, cocktails, hand towel with the couples monogram and so much more.

Stephanie’s dress was a gorgeous gown that she says it has no label, or at the least it was not coming from any specific brand. All she wanted was a gown with simple lines and a clean cut, no lacy nor pearls. Only a white gown. And she got it! She was nothing else but gorgeous. One of the most clean and placid looks that I ever had the chance to photograph.

The color theme was deep green, like tropical forest green. The bridesmaids were wearing beautiful velvet dresses, pairing with white flowers and hints of blush off white.

Before we go to the images of this beautiful wedding, let’s give a shout to one the best professionals in the wedding business that Houston has to offer:

Now let’s talk about the groom! Steven is partially Mexican thanks to his beautiful and energetic mom, the lady in the pink dress that dominated the dance floor!

And Susan did not let family and friends go away without a fun Latino touch involved: a mariachi that brought many to tears of joy when the couple exited the Centennial Garden.

Just outside the Garden, a sweet white Cooper awaited the couple, with massive white balloons attached to it. Stephanie and Steven exited the reception venue after a warm farewell from their loved ones and friends.
